Terms and Conditions

 

When entering the premises all members and guests must adhere to the T&Cs we lay out. Failure to do so may result in a ban from the park and appropriate action may by the management. The rules are there for yours and other people’s safety.

DISCLAIMER
The risk of injury when being involved in these activities can be serious, including the potential for permanent disability and death, while the rules, equipment and personal discipline will reduce the risk, the risk of serious injury does exist. All participants knowingly and freely assume such risks, both known and unknown, and assume full responsibility for their participation and having and using the appropriate safety equipment. We do not accept any responsibility for any participant failure to comply with these rules other than due to our negligence.

We advise that helmets and pads must be worn at all times whilst in the skating areas and by all participants, regardless of age, ability or activity. If you are over 18 and choose not to, you must sign a separate liability waiver.

Ensure all equipment [Inc. safety equipment] is correctly maintained before use.

Prior to using any equipment and ramps in the park you should check it for safety and suitability for your purpose and skill levels. If you find any temporary defect in the equipment you should tell a member of the
staff.

Any accident should be reported to a member of staff immediately.

Anyone under the age of 18 wanting to use the park must have parental consent.

Children under the age of 12 must be supervised by a parent or appointed person at all times whilst in the park.

We reserve the right to refuse entry without giving a reason and to change the terms and conditions of entry.

24 hr recorded CCTV is in operation in the park for yours and our security. It is a condition of entry that you agree to being recorded on film whilst in the premises.

We do not accept responsibility for loss, theft or damage to any personal property.

Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the park.

The use or possession of alcohol and drugs in or around the premises will not be tolerated.

Abusive, discourteous or otherwise anti-social behaviour in or around the premises will not be tolerated.

Should any member of staff decide that at any time and for any reason that a user of the park is not behaving in a manor suitable, they will be removed from the premises with no refund and a note will be placed on their file.

No belongings to be left on the ramps or the walkways.

Do not take food or drinks on to the ramps at any time.

No food or drinks to be brought on to the premises.

Do not ride or skate above your ability.

Make clear your intentions to other users before starting a manoeuvre if it is likely to obstruct them.

Avoid cutting across in front of or behind other riders.

All beginners and those new to the park should take time to familiarize themselves with the skating area.

During busier sessions it is recommended that beginners stick to the designated beginner’s area.

Do not throw anything anywhere in the park.

Littering will not be tolerated. Use bins provided.

No graffiti and vandalism will be tolerated anywhere in the park.

Anybody who seems to be intoxicated will not be allowed to enter the
park.

Payment must be made prior to entering the park, Non-payment will be treated as theft and will be dealt with accordingly.

No refunds will be made for those leaving a session prematurely.

Do not open any fire doors unless in the event of a fire [they are alarmed]

Spectators must stay in designated areas and must not climb on any ramps.

No one under the age of 5 allowed to use the ramps

You recognize and accept the high risk of injury involved with participation in the various sports undertaken at Mags on ramps and agree to participate at your own risk.

You agree to waive all liability claims against Mags on ramps Ltd, its directors, employees and volunteers for any injuries, loss, ailments or other damage to yourself or your property whilst using the skate park.
